Betty Jane Bridges, 56, dies Saturday, January 19, 1991, at the Red Bay Hospital. She was a native of Mississippi and a member of the Gravel Springs MB Church in Hamilton. Services were held Monday, January 21, at the New Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Floyd Mansell and the Rev. Dewayne Wells officiating. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home of Red Bay was in charge or arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Peggy Craig of Amory, MS., and Dianne Channell of Hamilton; one son, Wayne Bridges of Hamilton; her mother, Imogene Holcomb of Belmont; one sister, Rochelle Dill of Red Bay; one brother, Don Holcomb of Red Bay; six grandchildren.
