Violet Bertha Baggerson Davis, 82, of Red Bay died Saturday, January 19, 1991, at the Red Bay Hospital. She was a native of Chicago, Ill., and a member of the Winthrop Harbor, Ill., First United Methodist Church. Services were held Sunday, January20, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Red Bay. Burial followed in Zion, Ill., Deaton Funeral Home of Red Bay was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Jean Bowker of Bennett, Wis., and Margaret Scott of Red Bay; two sisters, Adeline Wett of Woodstock, Ill., and Bernice Glasser of Chicago, Ill., six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
