Eva Jane Blackburn, 77, of Vina, died Friday, January 18, 1991, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence. She was the widow of C.C. Blackburn, a native of Alabama and a member or Hurricane Creek Baptist Church. Services were held Sunday, January 20, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Red Bay, with Rev W.D. Humphries and Rev. Billy Nichols officiating. Burial followed in the adjoining cemetery with Deaton Funeral Home directing. Survivors include eight sons, Howard Blackburn of Helena, Ark., Gordon Blackburn, R.C. Blackburn, and Vernon Blackburn, all of Aurora, Ill., Freddie Blackburn, and J.C. Blackburn, both of Vina; five daughters, Verlie Hardin of Red Bat, Mary Spencer of Aurora, Leatha Beaty and Anita Varga, both of Baldwyn, Miss., Shirley Morrow of Golden; two brothers, Elvin Creekmore of Vina, Luster Creekmore of West Memphis, Ark.; two sisters, Edna Holland of Red Bay and Irene Holland of Joliet, Ill.; 38 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
