Larry Junior Massey, 40, of Vina, died Thursday, February 1, 1990, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a member of Burleson Baptist Church and a sawmill worker. Services were held Saturday, February 3, at Williams Sanctuary Baptist Church with Rev. Marshall Emerson and Rev. Carl Lofton officiating. Burial followed in Old Burleson Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, was in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Earnestine Massey of Vina; two sons, Larry Eugene Massey and William Murphy Massey both of Vina; his mother Flossie Massey of Vina; one sister, Girlene Miller of Vina; two brothers Bobby Joe Massey of Vina and Robert Massey of Red Bay. Pallbeares were J.M. Poores, Bobby Eugene Massey, Darrian Ray Massey, Allen Massey, Tim Poores and Michael Smith.
