Burford Elize Malone, 63, of Red Bay, died Friday, February 2, 1990, at the Red Bay Hospital. He was a Native of Alabama, a retired farmer and was a member of the Red Bay Church of Christ. Services were held Sunday, February 4, at the New Union Baptist Church with Rev. Cecil Stepp, the Rev. Bobby Massey and the Rev. Coye Marbutt officiating. Burial followed in the Halltown Cemetery in Franklin County. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, was in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Doris Malone of Red Bay; two daughters, Barbara White and Nina Wood, both of Red Bay; two sons, Elzie Malone and Scottie Malone, both of Red Bay; nine grandchildren. Pallbearers were Nelson Davidson, Richardson McDonald, Keith Humphries, Robert James, Bill Durham and Thomas Massey.
