Albert K. Ginn, 85, of Red Bay, died Thursday, March 14, 1996, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, Florence.
He was a native of Alabama, was retired from sawmilling and farming after 50 years, and was a school bus driver. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Services were held Sunday, March 17, at Deaton Funeral Home chapel, Red Bay, with Rev. Amos Hood and Rev. Billy George officiating. Burial followed in Ridge Cemetery.
Survivors include four daughters, Elaine and Billy Murphy, Double Springs, Julia and Tommy O’Neal, Red Bay, Shirley and Billy Thome, Tishomingo, Miss., Joan and Thomas Mize, Brandon, Miss.; two sons, Billy and Ophelia Ginn, Cherokee, Doyle and Nadean Ginn, Red Bay; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Hughes, San Antonio, Tex.; two brothers, Alfred Ginn, San Antonio, Toy Ginn, Fulton, Miss.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lida Dubois Ginn.
