Lillard Ivean Ivey, 83, of Dennis, Miss., died Thursday, March 14, 1996, at luka (Miss.) Hospital.
She was a native of Mississippi and a housewife for 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arlion Ivey, two sons, Dorsie Ivey and William Ivey, and a grandson, Mark Ivey.
Services were held Saturday, March 16, at Deaton Funeral Home chapel, Belmont, with Rev. Donnie Wooten officiating. Burial was in East Prentiss Cemetery.
Survivors include four daughters, Tina Wooten, Dennis, Elouise Hayes, Sugar Tree, Tenn., Barbara Welch, Dyersburg, Tenn., Mildred Summerford, Amory, Miss.; five sons, Marcus Ivey, Wayne Ivey, both of Belmont, Monroe Ivey, Red Bay, Marshall Ray Ivey, Dennis, Jimmy Dale Ivey, Tishomingo, Miss.; four sisters, Lola Chambers, Marietta, Ga., Madgeline Bennette, Booneville, Miss., Willa Dean Estes, Oxford, Miss., Ruthie Lee Heartwell, Ft. Worth, Tex.; someone special, Johnny Hollingsworth, Burnsville, Miss.; 23 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
