RED BAY, AL – Jean Farris Hall, 95, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Burns Nursing Home, Russellville, AL. She was born in Itawamba County, MS to Otto and Carrie Kent Farris and retired from Blue Bell. She had been attending Pineville Baptist Church until she could no longer drive. She was Mama Jean to many.
Services will be Saturday, April 20, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Greg Strickland and Bro. Norris Blackburn officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Blackburn (Norris) and Sue Blake; grandchildren, Kara Fisher (Justin), Stacy Hester, Kevin Hester, Linda Gibson (Jimmie) Tosha Grimes, Justin Parcus Hall and Melissa Hall and great-grandchildren, Addison Turner, Skye Wigginton, Maelee Thorn, Landen Petree, Taylre Hall, Bella Hall, Drake Hester, Michael Copeland and Kerrie Gibson; great-great-grandchildren, Khloie Bolding, Max Gibson and Leland Wigginton.
She was preceded in death by three children, Danny Hall, Kathy Hall and Ricky Hall and two grandsons, Chris Blake and Erik Wigginton.
Pallbearers will be Justin Parcus Hall, Kevin Hester, Mike Prestage, Steven Prestage, Justin Fisher and Jarred Patterson.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 20, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
