TISHOMINGO, MS – James Jackson, 71, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Tishomingo Living Center, Iuka, MS. He was born in Red Bay, AL to Richard and Dorothy Harrison Jackson. He worked at MTS and attended Way of Life Church.
Services will be Saturday, March 16, 1:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Scotty Young officiating. Burial will be in Berry Cemetery, Red Bay, AL. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by a son, David Jackson, a granddaughter, Adlynn Jackson; a sister, Pat Carnathan and a brother, Terry Jackson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lennetta Jackson, his parents and a brother, Jerry Jackson.
Pallbearers will be Corey Mims, Shannon Garrison, Michael Garrison, Jeff Pounders, Jonathan Ragan, Donald Ray, Dale Ray and Darrell Ray.
Visitation will be Saturday, March 16, 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS.
