BELMONT, MS – Mabeline Harris Yarber, 96, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at her home. She was born in Marietta, MS to Lee and Ara Crowe Harris. She was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church where she played the piano for several years. She worked as a bookkeeper for the businesses she and her husband Lealon owned and operated, Yarber Insurance Agency and Belmont TV Cable service.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 27, 2 p.m. at Belmont United Methodist Church with Bro. Mark Nail, Jason Jent and Mark Jent officiating. Burial will be in Belmont City Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her daughter, Emily Hutcheson (Max Ray); her granddaughter, Leah Tucker (Wesley); her great-granddaughter, Hallie Tucker and a special niece, Patricia Jent (David).
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lealon Yarber; son, Pat Yarber; her brother, L.R. Harris, Jr. (Addie); her sister, Frances Harris and a niece, Beckie Tedford (Eddy).
Pallbearers will be Brandon Davis, Max Ray Hutcheson, David Jent, Jared Jent, Jason Jent, Jordan Jent, Mark Jent and Wesley Tucker. Honorary pallbearers will be Judy Bowen, Tommy Clark and Chris Mraz.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 27, 12-2 p.m. at Belmont United Methodist Church.
