GOLDEN, MS – Myra Jane Milam, 77, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. She was born October 5, 1940 in Tishomingo County, Ms. and worked as a beautician for thirty years.
Services will be Friday, November 17, 7 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, MS with Bro. Robert Wood and Bro. Roger Kennedy officiating. Burial will be Saturday, November 18, 11 a.m. in Belmont City Cemetery, Belmont, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are two children – Angela Milam Lambert (Ronnie) and Timmy Milam (Sonia); eight grandchildren – Hunter Milam, Morgan Milam, Zac Lambert, Mychelle Lambert, William Lambert, Dallas Milam, Myranda Milam and Nina Wisdom; five great-grandchildren – Jaxn Alec Harris, Grant Wisdom, Ava Wisdom, Layla Wisdom and Mia Wisdom; two sisters – Sue Dill and Katherine McCafferty (Ed); one brother – W.D. Moody (Jackie); two sisters-in-law – Jan Moody and Eddie Moody and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy Milam, two daughters – Joy Milam and Judy Milam; her parents, Leonard and Eulah Moody, three brothers – Bob Moody, Jim Moody and Ray Moody and one brother-in-law, O’neal Dill.
Pallbearers will be B.J. Moody, Aaron Milam, Allen Bridges, Blake Arnold, Dallas Milam and Zac Lambert. Honorary pallbearers will be Shane Thorn and Jessie Milam.Visitation will be Friday, November 17, 6-7 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS and will continue after the funeral service.
