BELMONT, MS – Kathy Ray Gober, 61, died Thursday, December 15, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Mississippi and was a factory worker for forty years. She was a member of Liberty Church of Christ, Dennis, Ms.
Services will be Friday, December 16, at 3 p.m. at Liberty Church of Christ, Dennis, Ms. with Haskell Sparks officiating. Burial will be in Dennis Memorial Gardens, Dennis, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, Ms. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are one daughter – Monica Pardue, Belmont, Ms.; four sisters – Shirley Ivey, Glenda Williams (Wallace), Virginia Johnson (James) and Freida Williford, all of Belmont, Ms.; a host of nieces, nephews, special friends and special buddy “Gordy.”
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edgar Gilley and Eunice Ables Gilley and a brother, Eddie Gilley.
Pallbearers will be Alan Williams, Mike Thorn, Shane Thorn, Jay Tate, Ralph Seatle and David Bennett. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve George and Bryson “Gordy” Frederick.
Visitation will be Friday, December 16, 1-3 p.m. at Liberty Church of Christ.
