Eva S. Morris, 85, of Dennis, Miss., died Thursday, August 3, 1995, at her residence.
She was a native of Mississippi, a housewife, and member of Golden United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mitchell S. Morris.
Services were held Saturday, August 5, 1995, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Belmont, with Dr. Tommy Puris officiating. Burial followed in Lindsey Cemetery with Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include four daughters, Dorothy Grimes, Golden, Wilma Renfroe, Red Bay, Jolene Bartkavich, Westmont, Ill., Ann Ledbetter, Muscle Shoals; one son, Freddie H. Morris, Dennis; three sisters, Ygondine Barrett, Port Orange, Fla., Olene Smith, Winston Salem, N.C., Irene Scott, Belden, Miss.; five grandson; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; four step-grandchildren.
