Aubrey Dillard Hicks, 73, of Belmont died Wednesday, July 7, 1993, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Miss.
He was a native of Mississippi, retired from Commodore Homes, member and deacon of Calvary Baptist Church, Belmont Masonic Lodge 237, Shriner, Eastern Star, U.S. Army veteran of World War II and former alderman in Tishomingo County.
Services were held Saturday, July 10, 1993 at Calvary Baptist Church with Dr. Loyd Storment and the Rev. Bob Moritz officiating. Burial followed in the Dennis Memory Gardens with Deaton Funeral Home of Belmont directing.
Survivors include his wife, Ova Lee Hicks of Belmont; son, Billy Hicks of Raleigh, N.C.; two daughters, Anna Gray of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Rhonda Tidwell of Knoxville, Tenn.; two brothers, Brodie Hicks and Erine Hicks, both of Belmont; sister, Ethel Young of Battle Creek, Mich.; four grandchildren.
