James Cecil Martin, 70, of Vina died Tuesday, March 12, 1991, at Humana Hospital in Muscle Shoals. He was retired from VA Hospital in Chicago, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Baptist church. Services were held Friday, March 15, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with the Rev. Coye Marbutt officiating. Burial followed in Mount Zion Cemetery. Survivors include a brother, Clois Martin of Vina; five sisters, Verlon Pugh of Golden, Erva Stacy of Dallas, Texas, Fay Whitmore of zion, Ill., Ouida McLain of Memphis, Tenn., and Betty Christian of Tupelo, Miss.
