Douglas Wilson Ledbetter, 74, of Vina, died Wednesday, January 30, 1991, at Humana Hospital in Muscle Shoals. He was a member of Old Burleson Baptist Church where he was a deacon for 34 years, and a retired carpenter. Services were held Friday, February 1, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay, with The Rev. Bobby Sibley officiating. Burial followed in the Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Ann Ledbetter of Vina; one son, Gene Ledbetter of Alabaster; one daughter, Mary Ross Horton of Red Bay; three Brothers, Coatsworth Ledbetter of Kilgore, Texas, Marcellus Ledbetter of Amory, MS., Burdette Ledbetter of Birmingham; three sisters, Eva Wilson of Tremont, MS., Maggie Frederick of Russellville, and Bertha Ross Williams of New Orleans, LA., three grandchildren.
