Eugene Bolton, 62, of Red Bay died Thursday, October 4, 1990, at the Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital in Florence. He was a native of Alabama and a retired truck driver. Services were Sunday, October 7 at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel with the Elder Wallace Lighthall officiating. Burial followed in the Pleasant Site Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Olene Bolton of Red Bay; two daughters; Denise Bolton of Red Bay and Sharon Painter of Mooreville, N.C.; two sons, Elden Bolton of Augusta, Ga., and Raymond Bolton of Jackson, Miss.; his mother, Ida Bolton of Red Bay; two sisters, Elsie Needham of Coloma, Mich., and Marie Robbins of Red Bay; two brothers, Oneal Bolton of Russellville and Billy Bolton of Red Bay; eight grandchildren. Pallbearers were Mike Montgomery, Mark King, Jackie Ray, Kenneth Needham, Herbert Henson and Orville Strickland.
