Rev. William Wayne Parrish, 53, of Red Bay, died Saturday, April 28, 1990, at Red Bay Hospital. He was native of Alabama, an employee of Sunshine Mills, minister and evangelist. Services were held Monday, April 30 at Providence Baptist Church, with Rev. Ronald Watson officiating. Burial followed in the Providence Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay was in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Parrish of Red Bay; two daughters, Sherry Sturdivant of Fulton, Miss., Regina Harris of Golden; two sons, Terry Wayne Parrish and Rickey Dell Parrish, both of Red Bay; two brothers, Marvin Frank Parrish of Vina, Rev. Gillie Parrish of Red Bay; three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Trellis Petree, Ray Hill, Jerry Hill, Mike Parker, Ellis Stacy and Edward Holland.
