RED BAY, AL – Billy Wayne Brooks, 60, passed away Saturday, September 21, 2026 at his residence. He was born in Alabama. He worked at Tiffins, also as a volunteer firefighter, and with Nu-Way Carpet Cleaning.
He is a survived by his wife of 38 years, Crystal Brooks; two children, Christina Brooks (Jared Hutcheson) and Bradley Brooks (Erica); grandchildren, Allie Bertrand, Allana Bertrand, Everette Stone Brooks and step-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Donna Garrison (Stevie), Teresa Elrod and Melissa Pitts; Mother-in-law, Peggy Easley; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jo Duncan Allison; two aunts, Sybil Brooks, Eular Lynch; one uncle, Tiny Lynch.
Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL assisted the family.
