A Tuscumbia woman was killed Thursday, Oct. 31, in a one-vehicle crash east of Red Bay.
The Alabama State Troopers’ office in Sheffield reports that Samantha Michelle Potter, 23, was killed around 11:15 a.m. when the 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser she was driving left the roadway in a curve and struck a tree. The crash occurred on Alabama Highway 247 approximately 5 miles east of Red Bay.
No further information is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
