GOLDEN, MS – Eva Snow Shook, 91, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Russellville Healthcare in Russellville, AL. She was born in Red Bay, AL to Amphy Gerome and Vira Wroten Sartain. She worked along her husband as the receptionist at Shook Chiropractic for forty years. She was a member of Golden Central Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 19, at 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Nathan Hodum and Bro. Matthew Fancher officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by three children-Jessie Patrick of Russellville, AL, Donna Cooper (Ray) of Evans, GA and Ray Shook (Sherry) of Golden, MS; five grandchildren-Jason Patrick, Kheri Cash (Kevin), Kevin Cooper (Gina), Leah Shewbart and Dr. Ramey Shook III (Lori); eight great-grandchildren-Brooke Shewbart, Chase Cooper, Lane Shewbart, Sydney Cooper, Eva Cora Cooper, Cooper Cash, Olivia Harris and Raylea Shook and two brothers-in-law-Clois Shook (Val) and Royce Shook (Yvonne).
She was preceded in death by her husband-Dr. Raymond U. Shook, Sr.; her parents and five brothers and sisters-Alean Sartin, Pauline Jackson(Clyde E.), Esta Lee Page (Neal), Kenneth Sartain (Fay) and Clayton Sartain (Opal).
Pallbearers will be Joel Page, Lee Page, Ramey Shook, Jason Patrick, Kevin Cooper, Lane Shewbart and Dwight Jackson.Visitation will be Tuesday, February 19, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Homem Red Bay, AL.
