DENNIS, MS – Carla Ann Hall, 70, was born April 18, 1947, and went home to be with our Heavenly Father, September 8, 2017, at North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada for most of her life. She was a member of Tishomingo Baptist Church. She worked alongside her husband, Jimmy Hall, for numerous years as long haul truckers. She was a lover of all animals, enjoyed spending time working in her yard and cooking for everyone.
Services will be Tuesday, September 12, 1 p.m. at Tishomingo Baptist Church with Bro. Robbie Crane, Bro. Royce Howie and Dr. James Perkins officiating. Burial will be in Belmont Memory Gardens. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by her son, Anthony Westbay of Las Vegas, NV, two step-daughters, Laurinda Sparks (Shane) of Olive Branch, MS and Melissa Ewing (Jimmy) of Las Vegas, NV; nine grandchildren-Tony Westbay, Summer Westbay, Coleman Westbay, Cameron Westbay, Channing Sparks, Ashton Sparks, Emma Grace Sparks, Jimmy Ewing and Skyllur Ewing; three great-grandchildren-Trinity, Hayden and Cash Westbay; one sister- Bobbie Mitts of Las Vegas, NV; one niece- Cheryl Mitts (Larry) of Las Vegas, NV; several other nieces and nephew; two sisters-in-law-Glyndel Wood and Peggy Hall;
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy O. Hall and her parents, Carl & Helen Hubbard.
Pallbearers will be Jeffery Wood, Rudy Randolph, Daryl Chambers and Jared George.
Visitation will be Monday, September 11, 6-9 p.m. at Tishomingo Baptist Church.
