Mary Anne Childers, 70, died Jan. 24, 2006, at the Red Bay Hospital. She was born Oct. 3, 1935, in Franklin County, Ala., to Hubern Hinds and Earnestine Scharnagel Rogers. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Red Bay, where she played piano and organ. She was a member and former Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star.
Services were held Jan. 27 at the First United Methodist Church with burial in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include one daughter, Sharon Attaway of Red Bay; two grandsons, Walter Brewer, and Blaine Brewer and wife, Tiffany, all of Red Bay; one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Gilbert Wesley and Connie Childers; and a son, Johnny Wesley.
