RED BAY, Ala. – Shannon McClennan Underwood, 28, died Wednesday, June 23, 2004, at the North Miss. Medical Center. He was born Jan. 28, 1976, in Tupelo and was a floor covering installer for 11 years. He attended Bethel Church of God. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edith and Carman Underwood and Lida and George Hardin; and a brother, Shane Underwood.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Bro. Jeremy Harris officiating. Burial will be in the Halltown Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Misty Underwood of Red Bay; his parents, Mac and Lorene Underwood of Red Bay; two sisters, Tamela Jan Renfroe of Red Bay and Lori Dawn Parrish of Nettleton; nieces and nephews, T.J. Renfroe and Liza Renfroe, both of Red Bay, Shawn Parrish, Laci Parrish and Zachary Parrish, all of Nettleton; a host of aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be George Wright, Jeff Gober, Robert Caroll and Greg Nunley.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p. m. today and until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
