Leborn Letrell (Dutch) Franks, 73, formerly of Golden, died Monday, Feb. 26, 1996.
He was a Mason, and a veteran of World War I. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, two sons, and three brothers.
Services were held Wednesday, Feb. 28 at the McMinnville Funeral Home in McMinnville, Tenn. Services was conducted by Rev. V.R. (Razz) Williams, Rev. W.E. Franks and Rev. Earl Smith. The services concluded with a military honor and the 21-gun salute. Burial followed in the McMinnville Memory Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Jewel Farris Franks; one daughter, Judy Franks Smith, both of McMinnville; one brother, W.E. Franks of Tuscaloosa; two sisters, Verna Wilson of Allen Park, MI, Evelyn Ivy of Tupelo, MS; two grandchildren, Jeff Smith of McMinnville and Tracy Mobley; one great-grandchild, Anna Elizabeth Mobley, both of Red Bay.
