Audie Junior Barnes, 73, of Red Bay, died Tuesday, September 5, 1995, at Northport Hospital, Tuscaloosa. He was a native of Alabama, a retired watchmaker having worked for 30 years, a veteran of U.S. Army serving in WWII and a member of World Wide Church of God.
Services were held Thursday, September 7, 1995, at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with Rev. Brian White officiating. Burial followed in the Red Bay City Cemetery.
Survivors include Norma Rogers Barnes, Red Bay; two daughters, Deborah Wilson, Red Bay, Pretcha Garrison, Double Springs; two sisters, Virdie Alexander, Red Bay, Marie Creekmore, Waukegan, Ill.; two brothers, Dave Barnes, Kenosha, Wisc., Paul Barnes of Ft. Worth, Texas; three grandchildren.
