Laney McNeil, 91, of Red Bay died Friday, October 19, 1990, at the Red Bay Hospital. He was a native of Mississippi, a retired farmer, and a member of the Tishomingo Baptist Church. Graveside Services were held Sunday, October 21, at Hillcrest Memory Gardens with Rev. Larry Hill officiating. Deaton Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include four daughters, Virginia Taylor of Tuscumbia, Sandra Sue Jeska of Erie, Penn., Weatha Gale McNeil and Carolyn Garner, both of Birmingham; two sons, Herman McNeil of Detroit, Mich., and Sherrill McNeil of Red Bay; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
