Owen D. Mason, 84, of Red Bay, died Friday, June 1, 1990, at his residence. He was a retired farmer and state employee with 25 years service. Services were held Sunday, June 3, at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, with the Rev. Bobby Clark officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, directed. Survivors include his wife, Levada Mason of Red Bay; daughters, Faye Brown and Jackie Thrasher, both of Red Bay; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
