Pearl Strawbridge, 83, of Red Bay, died Friday, May 18, 1990, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was a member of the Red Bay Church of Christ, a homemaker, a native of Franklin County and the widow of Frank Strawbridge. Services were held Sunday, May 20 at the Deaton Funeral Home Chapel in Red Bay with Rev. Dwayne Cody officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, was in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include two sons, William Otis Strawbridge and Larry Franklin Strawbridge, both of Red Bay; two daughters, Nella Ruth Spencer and Betty Smith, both of Red Bay; five sisters; Muriel Strickland of Red Bay, Birdy Carpenter of Vina, Noyeler Strickland of Zion, Ill., Ruby Hindman and Tommie Mills, both of Winthrop Harbo, Il.; two brothers, James C. Barker of Golden and Carlton Barker of Zion; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tim Massey, Tim Smith, Jackie Thrasher, Johnny Coker, Eddie Blunt and Joey Tate.
