Olar Pauline Massey, 74, of Red Bay, died Monday, March 19, 1990, at Red Bay Hospital. Her husband was the late Clarence Massey, and she was a member of Burleson Baptist Church. Services were held Wednesday, March 21, at deaton Funeral home Chapel in Red Bay, with the Rev. Bobby Sibley officiating. Burial followed in Burleson Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, directed. Survivors include her son, Burnell Massey of Vina; daughters, Jolene Patterson and Brenda Hammock, both of Red Bay; brothers, J.B. Oliver of Pontitoc, Miss.; Frank Oliver of Tupelo, Miss., and Jessie Oliver of Red Bay; sisters, Aline Guinn of Pompano Beach, Fla., Estelle Morphis of Pontitoc, Ida Massey and Dorothy Brooks, both of Red Bay, and Jennie Graham of Atwood, Tenn.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jimmy Massey, Tim Massey, Jerry Massey, Dale Massey and Junior Cromeans.
