Bunice Earvin Phillips, 74, of Booneville, Miss., died Thursday, July 28, 1988, at the Baptist Hospital in Booneville. He was a retired employee of the State Highway Department and a member of the Church of Christ.
Services were Saturday at McMillan Funeral Home Chapel with Lee Cole officiating. Burial was in Carter’s Chapel Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Eudell Hare Phillips of Booneville, Miss.; three daughters, Jo Rene Newman and Doris Armstrong, both of Booneville and Julia Pardue of Belmont, Miss.; one sister, Pearl Cole of Booneville, Miss.; one brother, Cephus Phillips of Booneville, Miss.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
